Is this an alcohol-free rum?

Technically, we're not allowed to call it an alcohol-free rum. But you are 😉 To be classified as rum, it must contain a minimum ABV of 37.5-40.0%, which ours does not. However, we use the same elements and spices found in traditional rum and employ similar distillation methods in addition to steam and extraction techniques that allow us to create a taste that closely resembles rum, fooling most people when mixed and enjoyed in good company.

Caramel, vanilla and nutmeg. They’re the familiar, rich and warming notes you can expect when enjoying ISH Caribbean Spiced Spirit.

Our unique process

The full strength spirit undergoes a process called “Supercritical CO2 Extraction”, a technology in which carbon dioxide, extracts the alcohol at 73 bars and 30°C. The extraction is carried out at a low temperature to preserve the natural taste profile. The de-alcoholized base is then enriched with vanilla from the Sava region of Madagascar, Indonesian nutmeg and baked apple that all together create the lush, complex flavor of a classic spiced spirit. Additionally we have developed a unique distillate using the shells from chili seeds to provide the satisfying heat we know from our spirits.

ISH Caribbean Spiced Spirit is a multi award-winning Alcohol-free beverage. Based on a de-alcoholized full strength spirit, originating from the Caribbean Islands of Jamaica and Martinique, we strive to deliver the most authentic experience for the mindful drinker.

ISH Caribbean Spiced Spirit is not intended to be enjoyed neat, but rather to add the kick to your cocktails but without the alcohol. Or, you can use it in conjunction with other spirits, allowing you to simply reduce the alcohol content of your cocktails

Yes-presso Martini

6 cl ISH Caribbean Spiced
3 cl Kahlua
1 cl Hazelnut syrup
Double shot espresso

GARNISH
3 coffee beans

METHOD
Add ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake with ice. Serve in a martini glass and carefully place the coffee beans on the foam.

Nice & Stormy

5 cl ISH Caribbean Spiced
1 cl Simple syrup
0,5 cl Lime juice
10 cl Ginger Beer
2 dash Angostura (optional)

GARNISH
Fresh ginger and a lime wedge

METHOD
Pour the ingredients together over ice and add a dash or two of angostura after your preference of bitterness. Finally, add garnish.

5 cl ISH Caribbean Spiced
4 cl Mango juice
3 cl Lime juice
2 cl Sugar syrup

GARNISH
Orange zest

METHOD
Shake ingredients together with ice in a cocktail shaker. Serve over ice and add a thin slice of orange zest.
