PROFILE

A dry de-alcoholized wine-based drink inspired by a classic French Chardonnay with notes of citrus, green apples and pears combined with a nice minerality and slight oak finish.

GRAPES

100% Chardonnay grapes from the Spanish Carinena region in Aragon. The grapes are grown in high elevation, which means that they ripen gradually which preserves the acidity resulting in a more fresh wine.

TASTE

Dry (50% less sugar than many other de-alcoholized wine-based drink)

PAIRING

Pairs nicely with fish and light vegetarian dishes. Can also be enjoyed as an afternoon glass any day of the week.

We begin by fermenting Chardonnay grapes from the Spanish Carinena region in Aragon.

We gently de-alcoholize our wine, with state-of-the-art techniques that preserve the volatile and precious aromas of the grapes.

We enrich our de-alcoholized base with a blend of spices, fruits and wood extracts to provide the complexity you expect from wine.

With an inquisitive mindset and help from some of the most creative, curious and conscious purveyors of food, we got to work with the purpose of creating an authentic, non-alcoholic wine experience. An experience that is much more than just a specific flavor combination. It’s also the bouquet, the alcohol burn and the balanced acidity lingering after every sip.

  • Why do some of your products contain traces of alcohol?

    The process of extracting flavors from plants sometimes require a small amount of alcohol to release its full flavor. This is why some ISH products are labeled with minimal traces of alcohol. To compare, orange juice and goma dressing contain 0,3%-0,4% alcohol, as does many other everyday products. Therefore it's perfectly safe to consume alcohol-free products labelled with less than 0,5% alcohol, also if you are pregnant.

  • Is ISH safe to enjoy while pregnant?

    All ISH products are perfectly safe to enjoy while pregnant. You might be surprised to learn that many everyday food products actually contain trace amounts of alcohol. Orange juice, for example,contains 0,3%-0,4% alcohol. The soy sauce we love to put on sushi? That has alcohol too. Ever eaten a very ripe banana? Then the odds are you consumed some alcohol. Even bread, once baked, can have residual traces of alcohol. Yet all of these are considered alcohol-free from a regulatory standpoint as the amount of alcohol is so minimal that it has no impact whatsoever.
